Holiday Extravaganza 2009

The 2nd Annual Holiday Extravaganza, "A Christmas Wizard of Oz" will be held on Saturday, December 19th at 2pm at Chelmsford High School Performing Arts Center in Chelmsford, MA. We will be holding a Dress Rehearsal, the recital, and a Holiday Banquet all in the same day at the same place. Detailed schedule below. The Dress Rehearsal will be from 11-1pm (students will need to arrive by 10:45am) and the show will start at 2pm. Immediately following the recital will be a Holiday Banquet sponsored by SDA’s Diamond Dancers.

10:45 am: All students must arrive at the church in full costume and makeup.
11:00 am - 1pm: MANDATORY Dress Rehearsal
1:00pm - 2:00pm: Eat lunch and change into first costume and prepare for show.
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm: "A Christmas Wizard of Oz" Holiday Extravaganza 2009.
3:30 pm - 3:45 pm: Diamond Dancers setup tables and food for banquet.
4:00 pm - 6:30 pm: Holiday banquet.
6:30 pm - 7:00 pm: Diamond Dancers cleanup.

*Note: Preschool dancers do not need to stay the whole duration of the dress rehearsal or between rehearsal and show. If your child is going to leave and come back, please inform Miss Becky and have your child back to the church in costume and makeup ready to dance at 1:45 PM.

Tickets are $5.00 and all proceeds will be donated to the Diamond Dancers to help them get to Disney World this April! DVDs of the show can be purchased at the recital for $28 a piece. Part of these proceeds will also go to the Diamond Dancers performance at Disney World.

The holiday banquet is included in the ticket price and will include great food, face painting, dancing games, raffles, and pictures with Santa!
