SDA Dress Code

*For Every Class: No overly baggy clothing, jeans or dangly jewelry. Hair must be pulled back off the face. Street shoes are not permitted in dance studio. Please bring dance shoes separately and change before class.

Tiny Dancers Pre-School, Combo 5 & 6, Ballet 1, and Tap 1
Students are required to wear a leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Students also need black tap shoes. Students can wear shorts or a skirt over their leotard, but no baggy clothing.
(In Tap 1, ballet shoes are not required.)

Jazz 1, Theatrical, Performance Group
Students are required to wear black jazz shoes with no ties and convertible tan tights. Students can wear any kind of jazz pants or shorts, no sweats or anything that is restricting to flexibility. No sweatshirts or large t-shirts should be worn in class.

Advanced Ballet/Tap and Teen Ballet/Tap
Students can wear any kind of jazz capris or shorts, no sweats or anything that is restricting to flexibility. No sweatshirts or large t-shirts should be worn in class. Students are required to wear convertible tan tights, pink ballet slippers, & black tap shoes.

Advanced Jazz/Lyrical & Teen Jazz/Lyrical
Students are required to wear black jazz shoes with no ties, tan dance paws/undeeze, & convertible tan tights.

Advanced Hip-Hop and Teen Jazz/Funk
Students should wear comfortable clothing, and regular or jazz sneakers. No sweatshirts or large t-shirts should be worn in class.

Most important thing to wear to class everyday is a smile!

* Dress Code is for the safety of the dancer and other dancers in class as well as to not distract dancers from class. Please see Miss Becky for any questions and/or issues.

SDA's 2nd Annual Spring Recital entitled "iPod Shuffle" will be held on Friday, June 25th at CHS PAC.

 

Parents please remember Semester 3 tuition is due the first week of April.
