Pilates for Dancers (ages 12-18): Pilates is a workout routine using your own body weight for resistance to build lean and toned muscle. It revolves around working your core, building strength and flexibility at the same time! Tuesdays 6-7pm with Kayla P

Ballroom: Partners are not needed! Students will learn basic ballroom and Latin technique, advanced students and adults are encouraged to wear heels.

Building Choreography: Students will learn strategies to creating choreography including musicality, formations, and how to build/create for all age groups!

Tuesdays 5-6pm with Miss Becky

Classical Technique Workshop: Students will build on their knowledge of ballet, jazz, and modern technique and strengthen their work in all styles through this intense foundations based class.

Advanced (Ages 13-18) Mondays 4-5pm with Miss Katy

Leaps and Turns: This class will focus only on their leaps and turns strengthening what they know and building on that to learn fun new tricks!

NEW Adult Classes (added 2/22/21):

We are so excited to be able to expand our adult offerings! Miss Sara has created such an amazing group of adult dancers and we hope to welcome so many more into the world of dance through our new classes! We are offering the following classes for ALL levels of dancers including those who have never danced before:

Yoga: This will be a basic beginner flow style yoga class for all levels. This class introduces foundational yoga postures with intermediate/advanced adaptations available for those interested in challenging their practice. With a deep focus on breath and finding the mind/body center, you will leave feeling refreshed and grounded. *We recommend bringing your own yoga mat*

Mondays 4-5pm with Miss Courtney

Adult Combo: Our awesome already existing jazz/contemporary/lyrical class!

Mondays 7-8pm with Miss Sara

Adult Tap: Learn basic tap skills, musicality, and rhythm in this fun class! Two offerings!

Tuesdays 6-7pm and Fridays 9:30-10:30am with Miss Zoe

Adult Modern/Conditioning Fusion: This class will utilize a horton based modern approach to movement and dance. Horton is an athletic technique that engages core musculature and stabilizes the body with strong, sharp lines. Conditioning techniques include pilates, barre, and yoga inspired strengthening and flexibility for improving functional movement in dance and daily life.

Adult Hip Hop: A fun, energetic class that will keep you moving and sweating while having the time of your life!

Adult Ballroom: Partners are welcome but not needed! Students will learn basic ballroom and Latin technique, advanced students and adults are encouraged to wear heels.

Wednesdays 6-7pm with George

Barre Fitness: Barre blends ballet with fitness work: Stabilizing the core while increasing cardiovascular health, flexibility, strength & body awareness.  Participants bring mats & 3lb. Or lighter dumbbells.

Thursdays 6-7pm with Miss Katy

Adult Ballet: Ballet Class will consist of barre, progressions & choreography set to traditional classical music. Ballet instills good posture, carriage, musicality & poise.

Tots in Tutus:
A combination class where dancers will be learning Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet!! This is a great introduction to dance for children 2-3 years old. This is not a parent-child class.
Ages 2-3 years old
*Must be 2 by September 1st

Preschool:
Preschool Class- Introduction to Dance. Participation and creativity are encouraged through novelty songs and dance. These classes combine the coordination and discipline with a fun preschool feel.
Tiny Dancers Preschool Ages: 3-4
Tumbling Tots and Tutus Ages: 3-4
*Must be 3 by September 1st 

Combo 5 & 6:
Combination of ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop- Introduction to movement and basic jazz and hip-hop steps, ballet and tap technique. This program helps build a child’s development and confidence. Dancers will get a feel for all styles of dance.
Ages: 5-6
*Must be 5 by September 1st

Kinder Classes:
Kinder classes are designed for dancers ages 5-7 who want a more specific style training instead of combo classes. Kinder classes are structured to prepare dancers for the next level in their style.
Ages 5-7 years old

Ballet 1:
This class will Focus on barre work and ballet technique, students will build a technical dance foundation for students new to ballet.
Ballet 1 Ages: 7-9
*Ages listed as a guide, students will be placed by level first

Ballet 2 & Teen Ballet:
This class focuses on the proper technique, placement, and style of classical ballet, going into great detail of the different style ballets.
Ballet 2 Ages: 10-12
Teen Ballet Ages: 13-17

Ballet 3 & Advanced Ballet:
This class will build on the foundation of dance technique and flexibility for advanced students.  This class will work towards incorporating pointe work as well.

Tap 1:
This is an introduction to tap, focusing on the fundamental foot work and techniques of tap dancing and rhythm.
Ages 7-12

Tap 2 & Teen Tap:
This class is for Teens that are beginner/intermediate tap dancers. This class will focus on the basics and fundamentals of tap with basic footwork and progressions across the floor.
Tap 2 Ages: 10-12
Teen Tap Ages: 12-17

Tap 3 & Advanced Tap:
Advanced tap goes deeper into the details of foot work and rhythm combinations along with still focusing on the technique behind the work.

A fun street style dance that is fast moving and high energy.

Jazz:
Explores all styles of jazz. Students will learn isolations, combinations, turns and leaps through the utilization of various styles of jazz such as Contemporary, Lyrical, Funk & Broadway. Class consists of Stretch and Strengthening during warm up, as well as dance combinations and progressions.
Jazz 1: Ages 7-9
Jazz 2: Ages 10-12
Broadway Pop: Ages 8-11
Teen Broadway Pop: 13-18

Jazz/Lyrical:
Explores all styles of jazz and lyrical. Students will learn isolations, combinations, turns and leaps through the utilization of various styles of jazz such as Contemporary, Lyrical & Broadway. Class consists of Stretch and Strengthening during warm up, as well as dance combinations and progressions.
Lyrical/Improv: Ages 8-11 *Must be enrolled in Ballet 2

Modern/Contemporary:
This class looks at the two different aspects of modern dance; Horton, and Graham. The class will go into detail of each technique, the movement incorporated, and also some history behind the two different types. Along with Horton and Graham style, this class will teach how to use fluidity and breathing in dance.

Acro:
Acro classes are structured to develop the coordination, strength, and flexibility needed to learn the basics of tumbling.  Students will be taught to correctly perform basic tumbling skills such as forward and backward rolls, headstands, handstands, bridges and cartwheels/round-offs. Additional skills include but are not limited to walkovers, limbers, aerials, backhandsprings, and other tumbling tricks. Acro-dance is combining the tumbling skills along with technical dance moves and performing them in a choreographed routine.

Technique
Flexibility and strength classes are designed to enhance muscular strength and endurance, speed and agility, and improve flexibility safely with correctly technique. This class is designed to improve balance, flexibility and core strength, as well as practice body awareness and mindfulness. The class incorporates traditional dance exercises, gymnastics conditioning and even pilates and yoga elements. Students will work combine floorwork, barre work and progressions across the floor to achieve greater strength and flexibility with every class.

Lil Dudes:
All boys beginner hip hop dance class that will focus on hip hop basics and the beginning steps of learning how to breakdance.
Ages 4-6.

Adult Combo:
A combination class for advanced adults consisting of various jazz styles, lyrical, and hip hop.

Mommy and Me: This class is geared towards toddlers and their mommies! Students will learn movement and coordination through games and exercise. Students will also gain the knowledge of basic ballet steps and creative movement through games, songs, and props. Ages 18months-2.9 yrsTiny Dancers : Preschool Class- Introduction to Dance. Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba and many other styles of Ballroom dance. This is a fun, no pressure class that teaches moves that can be used for a lifetime. No experience or partners necessary. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn this increasingly popular genre of dance! Ages 13-17

Adult Ballroom: An exciting new class geared toward dancers 18+. No experience or partners
necessary. Dancers will learn the basics of Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba, Swing and many other styles of Ballroom dance. This is a fun, no pressure class that teaches moves that can be used at weddings and parties. It is sure to be a great experience that will have even those with two left feet dancing with confidence. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn this increasingly popular genre of dance! Ages 18+

Zumba: This exciting new class that is sweeping the nation is a fusion of aerobics, hip hop and latin dance that will have you sweating in no time! It is a great workout that burns calories but you would never know it with all the fun you have! Ages 13+
